Personally, I hope she goes back into 899 Sqn livery. Was chatting to their Chief Eng this afternoon, the whole area seemed a little touchy so I left it. No current news on the Gnat, but from what I hear should be airworthy soon. The SFury is owned and flown by an ex-Concorde pilot, staying put as far as I can see.

There is some rumours about new exhibits, so watch this space.

It's already been mentioned somewhere - either in FlyPast/Aeroplane or another website. Can't remember what they said though, but they did mention the scheme specifics IIRC.

I'm pretty sure I heard its 899.

I think they are also looking at permission to carry drop tanks from the CAA.

I can't wait to see a Vixen flying in it's 'proper' colours again. Last time I saw one in the air was at an air show at the old HSA site in Hatfield back in the very early 70s.
I have become, comfortably numb.

Last time I saw the Vixen flying at a Display was Coventry 2003 when all of his tools escaped out of the boom. Oooops. Caused a fair bit of damage.

He did the display at Biggin Hill, with the tail hook down....by mistake!
