Quick question if you don't mind lads,

How do you change the AA from program to hardware controlled?

I have looked in the nvidea control panel but can't find how to do it.
I am running a fx5900 card and my graphic are nowhere near as good as that.

Cheers

Pete.

Hi Pete,

You can change it in the cards control software mate. The setting will either be 'Application Controlled' or whatever setting you decide to choose. Rule of thumb is that the graphics card software can control the way the card works far better than M$ can in flightsim but fiddling is not without pitfalls. You can however change the settings back in a jiffy so whatever you do will not be fatal.

ATI cards have the appropriate settings under 'Settings'-Display settings - 3D from the icon in your systray. Can't remember the exact location for Nvidia cards but it is accessed in the same way through the systray icon

 Keep your old drivers 'available'.. just in case

Inspired by these shots.. I felt moved to take both the Lago and Iris Tornado's out for a quick spin around Le Touquet this evening for a quick warmup before a VA flight. I'd not noticed before but I get between 15 and 20 fps faster on the Lago model than I do off the Iris one  Are you still doing paints for the Lago model DC or just the Iris release??
