Motion blur in a Rapide!!  I've overtaken AKIF before on the approach road to Duxford and I was doing below 60mph (I won't say any more officer!)
Anyone who's ever sat in a Rapide will know that it's almost impossible to stand up from the sitting position due to a) the confined nature of the cabin and b) the angle of the seat backs. Getting out of one in a hurry wouldn't be a problem though.. just push hard on the side and you're outside  I took that shot by holding the camera above my head and hoping!!

4JSTU.. I can thoroughly recommend your friend does what he can to get a flight in one of these graceful old ladies. Every sound, every vibration, every little disturbance in the air is transmitted directly to the passenger giving a truely memorable experience. If he has any soul at all.. he'll want more and plenty of it
As I reach the infamous 'Saga' age this year.. I might treat myself to a run in one of the Classic Wings Tiggies. A bit steep buy hey.. you only live once

I do think you get a real sensation of flight and movement
You bet - flying from EMA to LHR in a BMA Shorts 360 certainly gave a sensation of movement - up and down and side to side on a bumpy day.

And same round trip, I returned on a Brymon (?) Twin Otter from GAT to EMA via BHX. Single pilot operation so guess where I was sat

Never been in the hotseat, but flew in a Twin Otter on a VERY thunderstormy day in Las Vegas. No cockpit door, so I could see the way the nose was moving in circles relative to the horizon through the windscreen. Nice big windows (as mentioned above re. turboprops), and goes like stink on the takeoff roll too.

Great fun. The weather really added to the experience as we watched the storms heading for us, and we picked our way around them. Wouldn't recommend it to nervous fliers though! :sicky:

Ah yes I think US thundery days certainly beat UK ones.

September late afternoon from DFW to Shreveport in a Gulfstream 1 takes some beating. Put the BMA Shorts 360 bumpy ride into perspective.
