You mean one of these:

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0006155/L/ Landor

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0099853/L/ Chatham

Simplest way with Airliners.net is just link to one using the link at the top of the page and let everyone find the others.

The rest are World tails

BA franchise is other parts of the world

As to the ATA. that was operated by ATA for BA rather than BA, but it is no different to when BEA used Yorks, Canadair 4, VC10 and Britannias, they are not considered to have been BEA types..........short term not really accountable in the context here.

Same with Jersey Airlines that used a MEA Viscount for a few months is not considered as a Jersey Airlines type.

Another example is Air UK that used a Partnair CV580 for a year or so.

There are lots of odd examples of odd types in service. Air Anglia Viscount

BOAC certainly never had 727's.

but, welcome Mr CDRW

Tonks
Everyone had better put me on 'ignore' then - coming up next, a BOAC 767... :poke:

I was just combining one of the most attractive paint-schemes of the 60s and 70s with the prettiest payware aircraft (the Dreamfleet 727) on my PC... (edited for clarity! :-$ )

For those who can stomach a WiP shot of my BOAC 727, there's a picture here! I haven't used the alpha-channel before; can you tell?

EDIT: I should probably point out that this skin is based on the template released with the 727 and therefore is 95% Dreamfleet/Paul Golding's work!

Pic doesnt work.
I wouldn't mind a BEA 727 as they did want them.

I'm wondering why you don't have the VC10 on your system Pcdrw  No peers.. nothing better

Dan has been on the pop I think as that doesn't work particularly well. Regardless of alpha, try pulling the size of the Speedbird down by say 50% and you might be making something better than is at present (and more representative)
