There's more than one way to skin a cat:
Way number 3 -- Mother's old potato peeler.
Way number 5 -- Sand blasting.
Way number 6 -- Nitromors.
Way number 7 -- Petrol and a box of matches.
Way number 8 -- Expose it to beta radiation.
Way number 11 -- Freeze it off with liquid nitrogen.
Way number 12 -- The acid bath method.
Way number 15 -- Super Glue and a toothbrush.
Way number 27 -- Use an electric sander.
Way number 32 -- Wrap it around a lonely fat man's pecker.
Way number 46 -- Use the new Remmington LectroSkinner (R).
Way number 55 -- Use a lawnmower.
Way number 63 -- Sharpen it's claws and apply itching powder.
Way number 79 -- Send it to a German air show.
Way number 89 -- Use a lathe.
Way number 95 -- Use an Oxy-Acetylene torch.
Way number 107 -- Boil it for 4 hours in lightly salted water.

Is the preceding post meant to be funny?

I'm the proud owner of two cats....
And yes I think its funny.
I'm a great lover of pets and animals in general, but that certainly doesn't affect my sense of humour.
But I can sense a slight lack in yours?
I've seen a few posts from you where you question the humor in other threads as well.
I usually refer from posting to a post that I don't find funny, as I very well know that humor is quite a personal thing.
So what others find funny others again doesn't, that's a simple fact of life.
But I would certainly not make myself judge over others sense of humor. So my advice to you is: If you don't like it, don't reply to it, if you do, feel free.
You are absolutely entitled to have your own margins, as well do others.
Well, that just my opinion..

You Own them Dan??? I didnt think cats could be owned???

We have two who grace us with their presence,The oldest is a blue eyed white haired Queen named Zobie - who is totally in charge of the house - she even has our 40 pound Wheaton Terrier totally terrorized

BTW I agree with you about sense's of humor

You 're quite right there
As a matter of fact my daughter owns a kitten at about 6 months, my wife has the elder (17 year).....
But i
own a long haired German Shepherd who rules the house. He acts like a very responsible big brother to all the others, including our rabbit.
He see to it that the kitten doesn't assault the rabbit or the mouse, and that the other cats in the neighbourhood doesn't harm the kitten.
He's 3 years, and a bit of a teddy bear with all that fur.
Keeps our, and all other houses in a radius of 100 yards, clear of burglars! ;-)
