Dunno Dave, I thought it was fine first circuit, but today I didn't like it much either.
It's very sluggish in roll & seemed way too nose high during approach.
I'm not sure what the landing speed is, but 130-140kt seemed plenty fast for no payload & 25% fuel in the wing tanks. :think:
If you put some payload in, it makes it go even more nose up.
A 146 surely has to be level or slightly nose down on approach?
I'm no 146 expert, but have to admit to giving mine a quick tweak. Apologies to John if he has spent ages getting it true to life & I'm missing something. :roll:
In aircraft.cfg [flaps] section - lift_scalar=1.500
This lowers the nose during approach.
Also [flight_tuning] section - aileron_effectiveness=1.5
To give a more positive roll.
Just have to stop the man yelling 'sink rate pull up' at me now.
