Nope,
it's only a single water elevation issue.

I can assure you
that's nothing to what you might have had.

LOL

Hopefully the minor issues with the watersloper,
many though there are,
will be fixed shortly,
either by MS directly or through 3rd party mods.

You need to remember,
no matter what you believed previously
FS9 was an entirely "Flat Earth" model,
and had no over the horizon abilities.

In FSX the world is truly round.
Objects at a distance are placed below the horizon.

Try going to the base end a very long runway,
zoom right in on the scenery beyond the other end,
enter slew mode, then press F3 to rise slowly.

Now go back and do the same in FS9.
