I went flying from Otherton airfield just south of Stafford. 330m grass runways and a very windy day made it interesting, especially in a 3 axis microlight.

Went shopping yesterday and before going the wife asked if she should take her brolly.
I looked up at the sky and said "No.......Its' not going to rain."
Got into town and it poured, she exclaimed "Thought you said it wasn't going to rain"!!!
I then had to admit that I did not look at the sky behind me"!!!!!!

Spare a though for my best mate who got done (married) on Saturday. Checked into Edinburgh fot his 17:30 flight to Heathrow to hear it had been delyed due to bad weather, thus he would have missed his conection to singapore. So he had to go this morning ( at his own expense as the bad weather was "an act of god" via Copenhagen... only just married and can you imagine the ear bashing he got last night!

If anyone ever denies me a refund for something because they claim its an "act of God", I shall point out that I am an atheist.
