Dan Air was a major operator of the type ad Manx did so in their own right with G-MIMA.

I did a repaint of G-cnmf for the Eurowings model.

Garry, G-MIMA and G-CNMF are one in the same airframe. Prior to G-MIMA though, Manx had a -100 series, G-OJET.

Dan Air's fleet originally consisted of 3 -100 series aircraft for which there isnt an FS9 model. Latterly, they exchanged those for 300 series but they weren really in the fleet all that long before DAN went bust, perhaps 2 or 3 years for the first model. I think that latterly DAN was doing more chartered work.

What would be nice though I think, would be to add some of the LCY routes operated by 146s. I know that most of these were operated by foreign operators, but Air UK/KLM UK operated quite a few, mainly with -300 series for a few years.

Hi Guy's

After getting halfway through typing up the AirUK schedules, I decided to scan the darned timetable and upload it. However.. John wasn't able to pull the file (even though I could) so.. it is now going via MSN as we speak. Plenty of routes (though many are via Stansted) to keep the most ardent 146 pilot busy. AirUK operated 100, 200 and 300's giving you yet more choice

They only had all three variants concurrently between about 1990/1 to 1995. The 200s left the fleet by 1995 I believe and the 100s sometime shortly before or around the time of hte KLM full acquisition of the company.

Air UK routes:

OK.. John has the Summer 95 schedule now but it would have saved me the effort of buying the soddin thing off ebay if those routes had been posted earlier

All 3 series are listed on the schedules Toby (each for specific flights) so if they weren't there, the bloody schedule is wrong!

Hi Dave,

Sorry, thats a mix of 1988 and 1998 routes. 1995 is an interesting year as it was a transitional point in the Air UK fleet and possibly the year when they had the largest number of 146 aircraft. I think the 146-200s were phased out, possibly at KLM's behest :dunno: To me it makes little sense since the the -200 is possibly the "best" series of 146 in terms of compromise between capacity and economy (some of the short routes being difficult to fill for the larger capacity of the -300 series). I think it was who Fraser sent me the 1988 timetable for when I was working with Peter McL on the AI traffic for Soton 1988.

Theres a nice mix of routes in there, hopefully enough to satisfy John so we can get the 146 flying for the VA. Obviously an aircraft I am verymuch looking forward to flying!!!
