All aircraft types have to be flown for the first time

I can't see a problem here

Test pilot conditions and at least there is experience and manuals based on true behaviour.

IIRC the Flypast article from earlier in the year, the TP happens to be ex Vulcan and will be part of the regular crew cadre. Without looking it up, I believe it was Al McDicken.

David used to fly the BB Lancaster also. I spoke to him at RIAT a couple of years ago and he said he really couldn't wait for it to get back up.

Nice picture by the way.

I sure hope they bring her over to the States once she starts flying again. Would be awsome to see her and a B-2 flying in formation.

You said it! If the Vulcan ever comes to Texas (maybe the CAF show in Midland) we'll need to get a group of Texas simmers and meet there. Oh well, it's a nice dream. :crying: So what's the story behind this Vulcan returning to the skies? Is it a government sponsored project? A corporate sponsorship? Please don't tell me that the Vulcan will be painted in a Red Bull paint scheme! :worried:

Sorry mate but I hope they don't. :tuttut:
