Hi Kevin.

I quite like the idea of a polo shirt, but unfortunately it wouldn't be free. (even after 100000 posts

) Our little escapade allready costs Â£70 per month at the last check, and we can't afford any more (unless we win the lottery) Just thought it would be something nice to have.

I'll maybe look into getting a limited run done if there is enough interest, but the last time I looked it would be Â£15-20 for our current cbfs logo per shirt, and TBH the cash could be spent better running the forum.

A polo shirt would be nice, but as Ben said, the money could be better spent elsewhere.
Maybe if there are enough advance orders a small batch could be made.
If a shirt cost, say, Â£15 to make but was sold for Â£20, the profit could go towards forum costs :think:

Sorry to but in,I would definatly pre-order a polo shirt if they were to be made.I may not be a prolific poster but after all the years of enjoyment just lurking in the corner,it would be nice to be able to put something back and get something that increases the awarness of this fantastic community.

Just my 2p worth, i will go back and sit in the corner now.

One every two years/ten a day......just numbers........every-ones opinion is equally valid.

Problem here really is money.

Money would need to be put up front to have whatever it is made and then there could be quite a wait to get it back.

It would be great to have the usual key rings, tee shirt, Polo shirts, mugs, badges, caps and all other thing with your "club" logo on, but that would need a lot of cash to do.

Unless someone came forward willing to finance these thing and be prepared to effectively lose that money for some time I can't see it happen.

Other's that have launched this sort of thing to support a pet project suggest that there is a lot of keenness until it comes to part with the cash and suddenly the queue vanishes

It's a nice idea and would be taken up by a few.....but I fear nowhere near enough :sad:

I have seen some other sites use this site for selling promotional items - http://www.cafepress.com - but don't know if they are an american outfit and how this might work -don't know if there is anything similar in the UK

Hi Ben

Sorry, I didn't make myself very clear there.
My concern was that anyone wearing the T-shirt (eg to an airshow) would effectively be representing the forum. It would be up to the moderators to decide who could purchase a T-shirt.

I would never expect them to be free, but would be happy to purchase one if available. Assuming of course that I'm considered responsible enough
