Shes surposedly got a cracked main spar!!! And the Panton bros would lose out of a lot of money (£8 a person), so the cost benifits dont work out....

Funny you should mention that Rob.

I saw a documentary on East Kirkby some months ago and at night the base is alledgedly thriving with paranormal activity and ghostly goings-on.

Its the most haunted RAF base/museum in the country. :shock:

Don't know about most haunted. Though the "Most Haunted" (Sky Living) team did an overnight vigil a few years back & reported 'activity' round the remains of the HP Hampden.

Though at night when the old girl's doing her demonstrations you can imagin how it might have been. All those young men (half my age), setting off never to return.

We had some sort of ghost hunting event on saturday night at our museum, from what I hear they found something or other. Not convinced personally!
