As far as the astrodome is concerned, I believe I got it right. There should perhaps be a hint of framing around the bottom, but there should not be a raised base to it.
I'd say so too, Ed! The astrodome (iirc) isn't a massive atro-hut.. I don't think it's any taller than the main canopy framing either. The JF dome just looks too.. large!

In the past I've found JF to be quite amenable to such suggestions. When they produced their FS2002 BoB Memorial Flight package I pointed out that while the prop on the Mk XIV and XIX Spitfires rotated correctly for a Griffon engined version, the prop textures were back to front.
Sure enough they issued a patch and I think they changed the later CDs. A buddy in the US who bought it on my recommendation some months later didn't have the problem.
I love it when a plan comes together...........

I hope so. I really want to like this. It's a shame to see that great VC be let down by things that would be so relatively easy to fix. I think the way is to be polite and constructive and hopefully get some results.
I found another thing last night - don't seem to be able to put the superchargers into high gear and as a result can't climb much higher than 12,000 feet.
