Hi Rick!

Looks like you were having some fun there!

Glad you like the Ark, we almost have her finished a few bits and bobs to sort out.

Would be interested to hear from anyone if they have skills with DXT and making "dirty" textures that do not blur at a distance, ie for the DECK!!!

happy landings,

Sketchy.

Ouch Rick!

Intruding on nautical territory with an RAF Wessex, whatever possessed you?

How was the Navy hospitality? Also, is the Ark in a new location

Ah but that nice Mr. RAF man has just picked up a naughty Navy pilot who took his Buccaneer for a swim and is kindly taking him back home

Just as an aside.... will it be easy enough to remove the static a/c? I think I'm going to have a play with some special AI I've been working on for this one :green:

Lovely! :yipeee:

Sorry Rick, the Navy set up is not just a different but a complete different set of models.

Hi Ben

We are planning on two scenery items, one with a clear deck and one with some of those static on them. Both decks will have the tractors on though, I think they are a nice touch.

There will be people who will want to do their own AI on her just as I've done so there will be a nice clear deck for you to do that.

Hi SK..

The Tractors and other bits are great.... just the deck with some parking will be fab. I've been working on using the AI helo mdl files on Carrier aircraft, and I think I'm not far away from having Buc's etc landing on the deck!

I have noticed one problem with the existing carriers (ARK and Hermes) in that if I modify the AFCAD the helo's land below the deck... i.e. the afcad layer seems to sink to the base of the ship, even if the runway etc is set to the corect hieght. Any ideas on where I'm going wrong?
