Hey Rick

Your existing model is more accurate than that.

There is only one decent Viscount model

That was the Hawk 700 reissued by Glencoe.

Even that has inaccuracies around the engines and nose and the portholes are a little two small. But is is a good one.

I made several with the different cockpits portholes and prop blade shape...alas all gone now.

If there are any details you are stuck for I might have pics I can scan.

If not Fraser :dance:

The Glencoe 700 model is the one i have that Tony Madge sent to me.
(Ta Tony :smile: )

It does look pretty accurate but sadly all the decals are bu**ered as they have crazed with age so if i was going to build it i would have to source some new ones.

I have dry fitted the main parts and i am impressed with it's fit and accuracy.

It is and excellent kit and it dates from the fifties.

There are transfer for BUA, Cambrian (first) and Red square available for that.

I had it made up in Air France, Air Canada, BA, BEA, and Capital :smile:

The Capital is straight form the box the others needed mods

The errors on it are very minor and I only changed them because I'm a fuss arse.

Fortunately it has the square props so it's easy to file them down for the versions with the rounded point and the cutlass blade of the first versions.

A sprue job on the cockpit and a cotton bud handle and filler for
a donkey's d1*k airscoop and it's surprising how different it can look.
