Yup.. Bulwark and Albion are LPD's and Ocean is an LPH.

It depends very much on the percieved threat but that said.. it is most (or was) unusual for a carrier to go anywhere without a guardship, usually a Destroyer so I wouldn't be surprised to see the name of one added to the growing list :wink:

having left the grey funnel line some time ago, i could say that yes you have the aircraft carrier and the helicopter assault ship. the one's you will not hear about are the others in the background. ie destroyer, fuel tankers,supply and possibly landing ship. in all about a half dozen if not more would be around the area.
