Bonjour,

Have a look to that:

And

http://www.aarg.com.au/DC2.htm

(RAAF DC2 and the C39 hybrid)

The C-39 hybrid

There is a dc2 1/2 (dc2 half), may be it's your dc2.5 ???

Hi Andy

That was the famous DC 2 1/2 ..the wing was damaged an all they had was a DC 2 wing.

Another flew with a large hole in the rear fuse held together with dexion.

But the ones Ben refer to,I think, we actually built that way.

The list in the link refers to DC 2 1/2 but I have never seen them called that before.........only the Chinese damaged one.

The other thing Ben..which Is why I linked the list, is the number of different military designations other than the familiar C-47 and C-53 for the Dak.

Hi all,

The story on the DC3 with one DC2 wing attached amazes me every time.
What a planes! They just keep flying.
That's what we're planning with the DC2. Just a few more things to finish.
Glad you like the VC  It will get better still.

Keep your eyes out for this DC2 for FS9 and FSX

Best, Rob

Hi Robcap and welcome to the forum

Though we are mainly 'Classic British' based in our outlook on things aviation related, 'Classic' is also and important part and I'm sure that many here will welcome the DC2

Hi Dave,

Thanks. I'm aware of the British nature of this site
But since Cathy asked, and my friend Javis brought this topic to my attention, I thought I might give it a go.

Best, Rob

Oh yes. We tend to listen to Cathy as she is one of the 3 females we have here and of course JanV always has our ear  It's had a long gestation time has this DC2 but I'm sure it will be worth it
