Brilliant shots once again!!
As for the bad weather, I've always quite liked aircraft viewed against a moody sky it just seems to add something to the shot.
Also, in these shots it appears to make the vampire stand out in relief from the background.

Currently have the Air Atlantique DC-3 in our hanger with engine oil all over the floor and the lower pots in peices. At least it wasn't a full on engine fire.

Fantastic photos indeed! :dance:
Hi chaps, I am new to these forums and would like to introduce myself. My name is Lee Clarke, 23 and currently working in the New Media sector.
After many years of flying with FS way back in the days of FS95, I've finally found a spare moment to give back to the community and produce some freeware add-ons. Currently in the pipe-line is a VFR autogen project and I hope you'll all be pleased to known a DH Vampire FB5/9 too.
I am completely new to 3D modelling/Gmax so this is my first attempt... feedback/suggestions are most welcome!
Here are some WIP shots;
There's still alot to do and I am currently re-building some parts, including those dreaded intakes, particularly the upper leading-edge angle. There will also be a trainer version once this one's complete.
Looking forward to chatting with you all in the near future!
Happy flying,
L.Clarke

Hi Lee,
Welcome to the forum. Well what can I say. I would of suggested creating your own thread for such a creation but seen as its here I would safely say that the WIP looks fantastic!
Many folk on here have been crying out for such an aircraft and it seems that your model will fill the niche.
Well done on the work so far and I look forward to having a natter in the future!!
Best wishes

Thanks Dave, would you happen to know where I can find photo/reference material regarding the RAF FB9 cockpit/panel?
Any chance of a wireframe screenie?
Sure;
Yet to be optimised but if the polycount is correct then I read"< 30,000 polys" is OK? :think:
Best Wishes,

I am very impressed!! Wireframe looks excellent.
After the T11 I wonder if you might be persuaded to build a Hawker Seahawk? - Much wanted by a number of enthusiasts.
