All those lovely motors and most of the celebrity owners don't even know how to drive them. Which is why many premiership footballers cars end up in hedges on their roof!

VC10 took the words right out of my keyboard when he wrote: No, I just think it is all rather sad. They have more money than sense.

and the write up on Mr Rooney being He crashed his Escalade into a builder’s lorry in Cheshire, and had an altercation in his X5 with a Nissan Primera in Stockport. The police sent him for more driving lessons

Regardless of who they are or how much they earn....any-one who purchases a car of high performance capabilities should be made to take either a High Performance Driving Course or at least an Advance Driving Course by the Insurance Companies before being allowed to take them out. After all, it would only be a drop in the ocean for them financially.

But then again, we have the boy racers in every town and City and some of their cars can quite easily reach 60mph in about six or seven seconds!!!!!

I quite like R5 GT Turbos but not that one, what a way to ruin a classic motor.

I think insurers should offer some hefty discounts if people pass an advanced course.

It's amazing how going on one makes you realise just how bad your driving was before...
