It doesn't sound like a vast amount of money. There again I used to earn millions a month until the Euro was introduced and my pay became 2000 times smaller.
Go for it CB, doing a job you enjoy really is worth a lot.

I must admit I would probably do the flying for free! I never really considered as a child, exactly how much a Pilot earns. I was too interested in the Aircraft and the flying.
Alas, the Air Cadets was the closest I ever came, although I would like to take it up again if money and time permits in the future.
Jetty do you fancy going half's on a little Tomahawk?!!

I considered becoming a pilot and indeed two of my school friends did just that - one works for Monarch, the other for BA. I suspect both senior captains now looking to retire.
I just didn't have the drive to turn the interest into a career :think:
