I was able to get the front page all night (US time) Ben. Only the forum was out. CombatAce is all forum based so it killed the whole site when they lost the forum.Ben Watson wrote:It may well have been Chris. It was't just the forum that went TU though, it was the whole site, so it may have been something else. Needless to say, I'm looking into it.

That did worry me - the idea of a formation streak-in (or out) - I'm sure it would take all Mr. Ks fabled photo retouch skills to keep us out of the horror show of the week listings. Not that I'm suggesting that Mrs K needs any retouching - or would join in any unseemly display or ... it's very dark down here, can I stop digging now?ianhind wrote:Well did you all "bare with us" like it said?
Just as well the weather is warm here in the UK

For the younger members of the forum, they are referring to the days when we had 'proper money', like 'ten bob notes', 'thrupenny bits' & 'half crowns' (or 'arf a dollar' as we used to call them down here.), not anything ending in 'p'. The days when a Mars bar cost a tanner, the Beano cost tuppence & Black Jacks were 8 for a penny.
Oh, and we used to live in t'septic tank in t'middle of the road .......
