I will supply an afcad to go with it yes.........that will give you a hard deck. You will then be able to do your own AI or if you wish adjust the afcad with parking spaces etc. I will also provide the "flatten" file so you don't see the Ark on a mountain of sea, installation doc will give you the instructions on what file goes where.
I use the freeware prog 3 wire which will give you the options of catapulting and trapping. Or I'm sure you will be able to use other carrier programs allowing you to do the same thing.
With now two looming new phantom packs, DSB's fighter pack which gives you the bucc, sea kings are already out and Simshed's coming wessex, the deck will be full of all the aircraft she carried. For the Gannet, at this time there's only Ito's that is available, but it's a nice model with some updated air files that are now available.
So soon enough we will be on an Ark Royal deployment

Now for the million dollar question................???
Is the Ark going to be released as a static model, or will we be able to place her at different locations............ie as a scenery item.
I know it can be difficult to compile large models such as this, but if it is a Gmax or FSDSv3 model, users should be able to locate her with programs such as Abacus' EZ scenery.
Just a thought.

You took the words straight from my keyboard Andy!
I was also going to ask that if static, where will it be, because my mum doesn't allow me out of the country when flying!
Also, if it's way out at sea, will it be moving to a certain destination, or is that impossible?
So many questions, so little time!

Hi Andy
I had made a post a wee while ago saying that the modeller who is in the RN has been busy with real life flying and sea trials hence we have been on hold for a while.
I hope to be going ahead to the finish line on her soon though, this is why there has not been any updates lately.
Noone more than me wants the old girl in the sim, but of course real life comes first like us all.
Soon as I have more news I'll cascade it out.
Thanks

Thanks for the update; the enquiry was prompted by a question from Cees over at the Outhouse, I'm sure he'll be happy with the news.
