PC World is as big a joke as Norton.
Norton and Mcafee pay PC World to display the product and whoever pays the most gets it recommended by the muppet.... sorry...sales person.

Use a decent anti virus package, and I bet you find at least 1 virus.

People who use Norton don't think they have problems because they just don't know what gets through. It'll tell you when there is a problem but it won't when there isn't !

I'm also a 'Nortonian', in the form of the Internet security package, but as I've read that it's slipping, I'll probably go for Panda, or McAlfee when my current subscription runs out.......in 271 days time!

Chris,

I think that report said that Internet Security was ok. It's users of Nav10 that need to panic a little (perhaps).. the standalone product

Combimed with weekly housecall AV checks, I have yet to find anything on my PC. I have never found or Had a virus on any of my systems. It's not denial in my case, but fact

This computer came with Norton pre-loaded. Soon as I got it home, the first thing I did was uninstall it and stick AVG in. Its free, as are the updates, and has kept me pure and unsullied for years. I thoroughly recommend it.
