Having traipsed across the US at 6000 feet in the six - (albeit on the flight deck) I can honestly say its rather a sedate and elegant way to fly - not only that if you take a sleeping bag - aft of the FEs postion by the radio racks is
a comfortable place to sleep

At the moment yes, although G-SIXC is up for sale.

G-APSA is currently at Dunsfold where it's being filmed for Cassino Royale

Vegas, Red Bull have one in Austria, and there is an example in South Africa, Nambia I think, but ours are certainly the only two in the UK.

Fantastic shots Tom. Would love to actually see and here the DC6 in real life. The only Atlantique aircraft I see nowadays is the Electra when it comes up to Prestwick to do circuits. You can always tell its an old plane as you can see the smoke trails from it but still a wonderful site.

I miss seeing all your classics, when joined my job I went to, the now sadly closed, training school at Ryton, very near Baginton.

I remember being out for a run down Ryton Ponds when your Anson flew overhead, my running partner exclaimed loudly "Ohh look, a spitfire..."

Glad they're still flying.

You wouldn't happen to know if an Electra was doing circuits at Doncaster again the other day? I didn't get a good look at it but I've seen them there a couple of times before
