Thanks guys. In response to your comments a few more!

Quick and dirty using JAlbum to avoid using the space here.

Most still need the magic of Photoshop after scanning. The colour ones are just a taster

And DaveB

Still got my Zenith B, and a Zenith E. Also the 450mm lens, a 90-250 zoom (or something like that) and a 28mm wide angle.

With the screw thread of the SLR, it was easiest to have 2 cameras with different lenses on at airshows.

And the results weren't bad. And there was no way I could afford better - just a poor student at university.

Not been used for decades and since they have no value, except sentimental, I still have them all in a case

Vulcan and Mossie taken at Woodford on 17 August 1974, so the black and white ones were definitely before that.

Yeah, great shots mate  I remember seeing the Vulcan at Cosford when I was a kid,it came over so low I thought my chest would explode with the vibration!

By an odd coincidence, my folks used to store thier touring caravan on a sute next to the old airbase at Fradley near Lichfield, I understand it was once a dispersal base for the V-Bomber force. The hangars are now used by Great Bear Distribution as warehouses  At least they are still there though.

Thanks.

I'll let you know when I have added more. Even I did not realise quite how old some of these are. Or how many - about 10 x 30 negatives before starting the colour stuff.

Looking through the black/white negatives I see there is a Vanguard/VC10/ Finnair Caravelle 10 in there, as well as Viscounts G-BDIK and N501TL. Also Bassett ZP-PJY, XK896 painted in HMS Heron colours and lots of GA.

Getting quite excited at scanning these - haven't looked at them for at least 20 years (never got the negatives printed - too expensive). And now I've got a Nikon4 slide scanner...
