Tonks, it must be wonderful, on a grey murky day to pierce through the cloud into another world of sunshine, and looking down on superb cloud formation!

There was something on the TV about a Cloud appreciation club - sounds funny, but they are wonderful sometimes........

.........Especially when you're 30-odd thousand feet up - in a VC10! :roll:

Dumb meterological question - they appear to be islands - but they have
lenticulars forming over them which is as Im taught signifies mountain wave
so are they islands or mountains sticking out of stratus deck???
