I remember a Whirlwind and an ex QF Heron (XM296?) in that same green.
In both cases they were referred to as "Admiral's Barges" so that seem to be the colour for Admiral's

Dave,
Nice to see RAE's unique T.12 - it DOES look good in green!
For those interested, this one (XE531) started out as an F.6, became an F(GA)9 and was then converted to its two-seater configuration. In RAE service, it received a HUD (one of the first) and photo-nose - this was what distinguished it from a standard T.7. It was also used to test fly-by-wire control systems for many years.
Just paint a 4"-5" black disc halfway between the 'Royal Aircraft Establishment' lettering and the nose, just above the white stripe and you'll have the photo nose!

The original purpose for the T12 was as part of the training programme for TSR2, hence the HUD. Sadly crashed at Farnborough back in 1982 (not the show, PAE Farnborough).
