The video was taken at New Garden Flying Field (N57). It’s a nice sleepy airfield in the rolling farmlands of Chester County, PA… west of Philadelphia.

Ah, I know the rolling farmlands of PA well. My sister lives near Butler, not too far from Pittsburgh.

Nice! Funny - I've been throughout the US and much of Canada, but I've never set foot anywhere near the Pittsburgh area...even though it's only the other end of my own state...about a 5 hour drive from our house. Regardless of which side of the state, Pennsylvania really does have a lot of scenic rural beauty.

A few years ago, I rented a car and drove from Butler to Gettysburg, through the Allegheny mountains - it was one of the most scenic journeys I've ever done. Absolutely beautiful.
On the second day walking the battlefield, I had a chat with one of the wisest men I've ever met. He must have been in his eighties, fit as a fiddle, and roaring along on his racing bike. Stopping to say hello, and noticing my accent, we then had a long talk, during which he told me of his military career.
He'd been a major in the US Army reserves, joining just after the Korean War, and leaving just before the Vietnam war. Now that's wisdom !

Wise man for sure! Unlike my unlucky dad. He shipped out for basic training the day JFK was shot. Supremely bad timing. He feared he'd be huddled in a foxhole fighting the Russians/Cubans or turned into nuclear ash within weeks...
Gettysburg is one of those places that gives me chills. Hard to believe such a pretty place was the site of so much anguish.
