Very nice, can we have one for FSX please!
If you are referring to repaint, there is one for freeware Project Airbus that you can find on avsim or flightsim

Aharon
Thanks, I would need the aircraft too of course as I rarely fly SLF tubes. 8)

Toby, thanks for posting these. Never seen this aircraft before. You see a lot of what-if paint jobs in flight simming, but only a few in the real world ( that recent BOAC 747 was one). I rather like this, though it’s a bit weird to see BEA flying again. Looking forward to looking at them in full size when I get home on Monday. Thanks again !

Ironically, it's been stupidly warm here this year. Almost no snow here at all and even where I used to go cross country skiing, I'm not sure if the Langlaufloipe was open for a single day of classic / Nordic style skiing all season. When you contrast that to 2012 when I could have practically skiied to work (if I could actually ski and if they hadn't cleared the roads).

Here's a clip I took of an Avro RJ pushing back in 2012. it was so cold that I had to go inside because I started to feel strange from just standing around on the viewing area (probably in the region of -12C to -14C):

Temperature can vary enormously from -20C to +40C. I didn't really move for the weather though, more for the experience of being somewhere different and for the scenery.

How much did it cost BA to change to the new designs? Millions wasted just for the sake of it.

Those multi-national tail fins weren't pretty, and they weren't awful, but they were pretty awful.

Thanks for the photos Toby. Always enjoyable.

I think he means "self loading freight", a pejorative term for passengers :poke:

So in his parlance an "slf tube" would be an airliner. Reminds me of my old boss in the UK, the first time I ever flew to Switzerland. We were sitting at the gate and pretty much everyone else had already boarded and he said to me "oh well, shall we get on the aluminium tube then?"
