I agree. But at least there are two Lancasters out there that work in FSX. The FCS version is a native FSX model, and has its supporters, but personally I prefer the Plane Design FS9 model, which works fine in FSX (including all the boost gauges) with a couple of tweaks. I have the McLennan modified versions, but have never flown them, so I can't really comment on why they don't fully work. The original PD model is fine, if a little dated.
