Now that IS good news.. but take heart, Duxford's Avenger is to be repainted in FAA colours.

I have CS Weapons, but after the initial flash of a hit, there's no lasting fire effect.

No.. sadly, the effect isn't lasting.. as far as I can see. I've yet to try it against air targets
