Re: Highway to the danger zone!
Thank you DAVID
Quick one for ya.. how does the other one fair (FR wise e t c) against the current crop of high-end stuff.. F-14/F-15/F-18? The F-15 is as heavy as I want to get.. EVER

Haven't flown it for a while, but I'll just run up the sim and check.

Re: Highway to the danger zone!
You're not going to like this Dave, but FPS wise it's a fair bit better than the AS F-14.
Just did a quick comparison, climbing out of Culdrose in the F-14 I get around 38 in exterior & 33 interior, the Frightning gives 45ish exterior & 40 inside. This is in P3d with a lot of the settings cranked up.

When those screenies were taken I was getting well over 60.

Re: Highway to the danger zone!
Thank you for that disappointing news
I will take this under advisement
TBH.. I've had quite enough of 'first in line for a new model' blues so I may just sit back and wait for the wrinkles to be ironed out. In the meantime.. I'll take a closer look at the model already out

Dave, I do apologise. We really need to be more careful about mentioning add-ons when you are around.DaveB wrote: You may have (inadvertently) steered me into another purchaseI really must stop coming here

You're not wrong there
I have to say the F3 looks very nice indeed.. especially the bare metal paints. What extra would you get from the F6 though. I'm no Lightning expert (nor any other expert as it happens) but you could put an F3 next to an F6 and I'd be hard pushed to tell you which was which
