Oo-er... :-O

I didn't crop the FR off so you could see them. Trapped first attempt too (though it wasn't the tidiest landing I've ever done) Nose wheel steering seems a little restricted. Moving around on deck isn't easy and you dare not use Slew. I tried that and as soon as I hit the Y key again.. off I went

Now then.. squadron paints for Hermes, Ark Royal (Omega fins), Victorious.. maybe Centaur required asap. I don't want any of the 70-odd paints that came with it

Thanks for the rundown on FR's for it Dave and the other info too. As you said.. this is one pretty well optimised model

Actually never looked at the paint kit. Hmm, got me thinking now. *-)

I've just looked all over the place for it and I believe you have to download it from VR. There's a fine explanation of how to use the PK in the manual but I don't have a degree so didn't understand a word of it :-O I have never seen such detail regarding the use of a PK in my life. I think they've done that to stop idiots like me tampering with it

In the meantime.. I'm waiting for Rob Richardson to get back re a paint kit for his Gannet AEW3. I've dug my Warpaint No.23 out and plan to so some more 'B' Flt paints plus some 'A' Flt too to cover Victorious. I've quickly changed the ID letter on JensKO's '041' to show V not R as an interim

Downloaded the paintkit from VRS, but it seems it's for an earlier version & there isn't an official one for the current model. 8)

Well I go to the foot of our stairs! :wall:

I didn't even see it there (I've just come back!) but I presume that's because I've not registered on the forum yet *-)

I'm not sure what the difference is between the old & the new. There are baked in shadows which aren't in the paintkit. The layout looks pretty much the same, but I don't know if any mapping has changed. :dunno:
I believe someone on their forum has made an unofficial paintkit. I assume one needs to contact him to get it though as I can't see a download link anywhere.

Hmm.. registered and now confused. From what I've read (and probably misunderstood) the paint kit relates to the TP version so what happens if you don't have TP *-) :dunno: I also read that VRS are reluctant to release a 'new' PK as they want it to include the 'F' which is under development (for the last 12 months looking at the date of the post).

Wonder if I'll have found out where the nav lights switch is before the PK gets released?

Fuel is a bit odd Dave. I set it up in the ACM almost empty so I could practice traps without farting around. It starts up with about 19% then goes up to over 21% before coming down again :-O Or have I done an AAR and not realised?
