Thanks, Dave. Naturally, if anyone wants it, just ask, and I'll upload it to AFV
The animated bods are a nice touch but I find they get a bit tiresome after a while. For a long time.. I flew either to or from the IoS on a daily basis and every time I go there.. the same old AI bod is walking around the terminal building. I dearly love to kill him

One word, Dave.......TACPAC!!

That IS an option I'd not considered
I don't know if the CaptainSim WEAPONS would work. I have that installed (Xmas sale) but have yet to try it. I don't think it's as flexible in it's destruction as TacPac

Weapons only displays hits, flame and smoke.
If I understand it correctly, TacPac actually destroys the object, as in a combat sim. I think that justifies the price tag.

It would be nice to destroy the vast majority of autogen housing in ORBX.. all that white paint that you can't possibly miss

It's looking good mate. Not sure about
that rather large orange windsock though. Is that a default?

Investigated this Dave, and as I couldn't find where I'd added it, I asked IS to show me where all the objects came from.
If you've never used that function, it's under "Extras" when you right click on the screen.
Well, turns out that it's not in any object library. I opened the Horizon library to be 100%, and here's a screenshot:

The little red warning sign is a Horizon object, but that rogue windsock is nobody's

so it can't be removed.

George may know how this came about. AFAIK, the Twotter on the beach is in the same category. Perhaps it's coded in using something other than IS.
To add to the mystery, I put an animated mechanic close to the nose of that parked aircraft. Sometimes he's there, BUT sometimes the blasted a/c is four lengths off to the South.
I'm convinced that I've not moved him, so maybe the a/c moves at different times of day. I must do a screenshot to see where it is in relation to the terminal, and try to catch it out!

Could you not kill it with an exclude Mike?
I don't have a twotter on the beach mate
EDIT: Mike.. I have VFR part 4 installed but have not yet bothered putting Scotflight scenery on this install. Looked at Barra and I have the very same windsock so.. I went into the scenery library and unticked VFR Scotland Airports and as if by magic.. the windsock disappeared. Maybe it's part of the Horizon AFD for Barra
EDIT#2.. another something to think of Mike. After unticking Horizon VFR Airports.. I installed Scotflight v2.1.. quick'n'dirty.. by adding the folders manually (in the right order) using Add Scenery in FSX. Went for a quick look around and found the big hill to the East of Barra Airport had a fahookin' big flatten through it

Never seen this before so I re-ticked Horizon VFR Airports and the flatten disappeared. What might have caused
that I hear you shout

I really don't know is the simple answer but there's obviously something in the Barra Airport files from Horizon that causes it so I'd recommend NOT unticking Horizon VFR Airports.. just build on top

I think the AFD file included with the Horizon scenery was created by Tony Meredith.
Norman Dean made one using my models of the warning sign and the flashing runway marker lights.

Those flashing beacons are present in the Horizon version George as are the Barra signs. Shame the Scotflight beacons don't flash.. in fact, I've never seen them lit at all

Would it be possible for Mike to open the AFD and remove the wind sock? Sounds do-able to me
EDIT: Just found the same wind sock present at Benbecula.. Scotflight didn't exclude this one!

Certainly. Check that the objects are not in a separate bgl. If so, open the AFD and "Import" the objects bgl than delete any which are not wanted.

Cheers George
Mike says they're not in any library (so where exactly they're coming from I'm not sure)

Anywho.. lets see if I have ADE installed
