Can't go wrong imho with Saiteks X52. Mine is approaching 9 years old and still going strong (touch wood) Prior to that I had many years of use out of the Saitek X45 (if memory serves). My views on Logitech G940 can be found elsewhere here.
Otherwise I have a CH Yoke too which is quite good (for the money)

Logitech Freedom 2.4 gz
Saitek Cyborg
Saitek X52
Thrustmaster Racing wheel with peddles ( I removed the workings in the steering wheel and use the potentiometer for elevator trim. Peddles for rudder and the buttons I use for - buttons.
Also a small Bluetooth keyboard with backlight,
It works out so it's right under my fingers off to left of joystick.

I use overflow pipe, brass, some wood and an old ms sidewinder upside down with a bit of funnel on top.

RJ45 for the wiring. Works a treat.

If you've external springs which are too stiff a couple of tiny tie-wraps pulling the springs together works wonders.
For me- Saitek X52 is my favourite. I had a saitek yoke which I disliked intensity. My CadetSqn flight sim uses the Saitek Cessna yoke however which is lovely.

Hello Paul.... I too am attched to a cadet sqn (233 Pershore) we have a sit in, head down (instruments, Cessna 152 IFR panel) head up (scenery projected onto a large screen) see picture here
http://www.233aircadets.org/activities_projects.html .....which is a bit out of date now. We are considering a yoke or an extended centre stick.

An old MS Sidewinder here without foce-feedback. I had a button that was sticking but I sprayed some electrical contact cleaner around the button and that fixed it! I know there are many newer alternatives available but I am used to it so will stay with it until it flakes out.

Hello 233Sqn. I'll get a pic of ours for you.
We've gone multi engine on ours. It's still undergoing an upgrade but the Saitek a Yoke is nice to use.
