Tristar.
If it brings you any comfort, I've been around since aught five and still receive a roasting on a regular basis.
Welcome to the forum.
Rick does wonderful work. His 748 is what brought me here.
and the matelots haven't stopped thanking him for it.
I would be remittre to not mention the work of all the other folk who make up the original CBFS
developers.
If you haven't been to BritSim.com I strongly suggest doing so.
Truely some of the most gracious bunch of devolpers in the world.
Cheers
Joe

ya thanks for the feedback guys, I will keep my fingers crossed cause I believe that aircraft he was working on would be beyond lots of payware stuff out there and also unfortunately the FS community which I have been involved in for six-teen years now and going) is full of crap developers who follow each other when it comes to projects , its so rare that anyone produces unique aircraft like this Jetstream that rick was doing..
Its all about big heavy and glass aircraft except for a hand full of guys who make older and smaller stuff .We need turboprops there isn't hardly any for fsx , except the atr (outdated now but still good) PMDG 1900 (very outdated) dash 8 q400 just came out!!!! why the 400 ??? why don't they produce the 100-200 first
and ricks hs 748 (outdated now in fsx but buried deep in my heart for eternity )
on the bright side of things an L1011 just came out and im so pleased , but then again captainsim is also doing one now (stupid!!!!!!!) why don't they make something else like a dc-8 or Fokker 28 or a convair , VC 10, so many to do still...
Razbam simulations is making a metro ( cant wait for it) pics look amazing! and Mcphat studious is working on a fokker 50
that is top quality so maybe it is getting better now...
I hope..

With the Dash Eight I don't think it's really a case of why the 400 and not the 100-300
The 400 is the common type and bears little in common with the earlier version save the Dash Eight designation.
Not something I'd make, but if I did it would have been the 400 simply because that is the one most folks know and fill a substantial part of the TP commuter flying that the earlier versions are not serving.
Quite why they decoded to develop the Dash Eight into an entirely new type for a very different market without changing the name has always been a mystery to me.
