I looked up a stute in the dictionary, but it didn't tell me what they look like.
In fact, I couldn't even find "dictionery" in it, so I chucked it out.

Flew to Guernsey on 645 in August 75, it was a training trip for the crew so we loaded it to the gunnels. Painted brown in those days.

Actually folks, it is the hemp scheme, not the low-vis grey. It was the only Andover - XS641 - to be adorned such, in about 1987 (I have another pic of it in an old aviation mag) though quite why is a mystery as it is indeed still in 115's markings and was previously in their red/white colours.
It is possible that, like XS644 previously, it may have been lent to 51 sqn for a short period, for electronic warfare training.
It was later sent to 60 sqn in the white/grey transport colours. The fuselage still survives at a scrap yard - see link below...
