At least if you hang around long enough you'll get the CaptainSim one for €9.99 at some point!

That's a good point but will it be with or without a cockpit for that price??

I'm waiting until I see review videos showing if the FE position is fully modeled and used and if DLC is modelled. If no on either or both points, then I'll just stick to the HJG Tristar thank you.

DLC.. you're asking a lot aren't you Chris

I also had the email from CaptSim today showing their model. I can only imagine just how good the flightdeck is. I doubt I'd be able to run it in a million years though :(

an authentic flight model with the TriStar’s unique Direct Lift Control runway approach system.
Well it seems to have DLC, but I've seen a few comments that it`s very much on the "lite" side in terms of systems and that it uses the default AP, lacking IAS mode for example.

It looks nice, and I can live with a "lite" model, but it really should have a more advanced AP. It is a Tristar and not a Cessna.

CS will no doubt produce a visual work of art that has the flying characteristics of a breeze block and needs a Cray to get decent FPS, so it looks like the wait continues.

Direct lift control mode is somewhat modeled like they promised, it works like trim though, you can control the reflection of spoilers through trim controls instead of it responding directly to yoke inputs
A comment from a user.

That is not DLC.

No.. I didn't think it would be. Tks for the HU Ed ;)

I like the idea of it being a 'lite' version though. You can bet your bottom dollar that the CS version won't be

EDIT
Whoops, sorry DaveG, didn't see that you'd put this up previously. Just got my notice of it today.
