HU IE v10 arrived suddenly

Re: HU IE v10 arrived suddenly
To be fair, IE is the most standards based browser on the market nowadays. Ironically all of the others (to varying degrees) are doing what they always accused MS of doing and making elements of their browsers proprietary.

Take no notice of him, Tony. I've got a whole list of reasons why Chrome is my favourite browser. The top one is to wind Ben up

I've got all four main browsers because I build the occasional amateur website and make sure they work on all but Chrome is the only one I use. I use Google mail and Google calendar synced with my other devices and it's all lovely and cuddly to use and really helpful. The only cost is to sell your soul to Google and give them access to all your personal data apparently. A small price to pay, I reckon

The US-cert vulnerability thing is just notice of an update to the browser to address vulnerabilites. If you check back on their previous notices almost every piece of commercial software is listed showing updates due to vulnerability - everything becomes vulnerable over time, that's why they update IE and Firefox right? Chrome overtook IE as the most-used browser last year and is still increasing it's lead over the others.
I've used Chrome for years and it's so much better than the alternatives and it's also good for Ben to get wound up as the stress helps his weight reduction programme. We owe him that!

That's class Tony
I have to say though, best alternative to IE is Firefox. Speed comes at a price

I've tried 'em all, but always go back to the 'fox in the end.
