ian, regarding steering on the ground I have started to use the left and right arrow (used for rudder via the keyboard) this works quite well though you do have to make sure that when lining up for take-off the rudders are centred with the keyboard as otherwise it will steer off the centr-line and you have to keep checking with the twist grip of the joystick!! May be a lot of fluffing about but find that the arrows for taxying quite good.
