Funny talking about AA. I've just rebuilt the PC in the last few days from scratch. I'd changed various bits, motherboards etc and was getting a few funnies so bit the bullet and rebuilt it all. I haven't bothered with GEX yet (largely because I need to download it again, and I don't know if I'll bother with UTX at all.) I did pick up the GenX Parts 1-3 V3 upgrade disks and its lovely to see the Tyne bridges in full 3D splendour
Anyway, Jaggies abound so I installed the latest NVidia drivers and took some time to read the info for each setting on the FSX profile. I've changed a few things in there and its now running better than ever! The settings I changed in the FSX Program Settings (In the NVidia Control Panel) are:-
1. Antialiasing - FXAA: ON
2. Antialiasing - Mode: ENHANCE THE APPLICATION SETTING
3. Antialiasing - Setting: 8x CSAA
4. Maximum pre-rendered frames: 2
5. Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample optimisation: OFF
6. Texture filtering - Quality: QUALITY
7. Texture filtering - Trilinear optimistation: ON
8. Vertical sync: ADAPTIVE
I've made no changes to the fsx.cfg file and I have AA enabled in FSX.
