Paul sorry didn't mean to detract from your post and your excellent pics.Like every right minded person I am full of nothing but admiration for these incredibly brave men.I sometimes wonder if I am alone in feeling a bit irate when I hear a discussion of Bomber Commands efforts reduced to mentions of Dresden,as though all their sacrifices were negated by that one event.May their souls rest in eternal peace.EricT

No no, Eric, not at all. I deleted my original comment because the thread is about the men and the memorial, not my opinions of WSC. You were just responding to that, so you didn't detract from anything at all. No problems !
