Boscombe is near Salisbury, about 50 miles from Pompey. Speaking of last chances to see a VC10, I'm still planning a visit to Brooklands to see the fly past on the 29th, although I'm resisting the £30 to join the cognoscenti for tea and cakes and lectures from old fogeys!
EDIT: just checked and the fly past has been cancelled. Bugger. Oh well, at least I didn't pay £30 for tea and cakes

I might try and get down to Boscome before 763 retires. Correct me if im wrong but isnt there a museum at Boscome and is there anyway of finding out when 763 is flying.

Garry was quite correct in quoting 233 miles. He was referring to the scenic route, which he was planning to walk with the Miami Dolphins cheer squad. And if it got cold and dark on the way, he would gladly share his two person tent - one at a time please girls.
And the easiest way to find a distance? Google maps, get directions from X to Y.

Simply because it's so fabulously dirty!!!
I use it on my Glasgow-Vagar Route.
