But like you, retired by then...still they didn't shorten you arms...I hope :worried:

You must have flown some of the One-Elevens too :)

Did you ever fly T1 and T2's?

Oh yes, I did fly all those S-111s as a First Officer before I got my command.

Never flew a T1 but had quite a few flights in the T2...I liked it very much and thought of it as the "Sports Car" version :)

Those BA Boeing 757 are about the only ones still flying, some still with the same registration, but now in DHL colours. And possibly the SAS MD-81s.

I agree there is not a lot of variety these days - spent a couple of days near EGLL recently. Airbus A319/32//321/330/340, Boeing 767/777 were the major types. Surprisingly very few B737.

Saudi Air Force C-130 also venture into Waddington - seen a couple near here on final approach. But they wouldn't go out over you Dave!

One thing that always amazed me about LHR in those days was despite the fact there were twice as many DC 10 than TriStars, DC 10's were quite in the minority with TriStars in abundance at times... :)

The 757's yep, maybe the only ones now...they were fairly new then, the G-BMR*'s were still being delivered.
