 You and me both. The only "i" I've ever owned are the two in my head...and even then I'm only borrowing them.

Condolences to Steve's family and friends. 56 is far to early to pass away.

I do own an iPod, thanks to a gift from my daughter and I also own an Apple ii+ and an Apple iie. Apple's early success was due to Wozniak's engineering genius. Jobs brought the marketing skills to the company and visions of how technology could enhance our lives.

I guess I make three here then, heck I have never even owned a cell phone!

12+ years ago I used to use a Mac every day at work but since then I have never touched one or owned anything 'Apple'.

Nor me....never owned anything from Apple.

Quite a few of these new I products the World would probably be better without as they have created an unsociable generation who can't hold a conversation because they have to keep leaving off to answer the phone or whatever other unnecessary device they have.. :)

I too am somewhat saddened for Steve and his family that he should have to go at such a young an age. He had a lot more to bring to the table .. er tablet~.

He and the "Waz" started Apple and then in 85 he was forced out . He then started NeXT - made something of that, got Apple to buy it, and then - he took over. He had a lot of great ideas. And he became thee largest share holder of Disney after they bought (his) Pixar Studios company.

Having said that, I've never bought any of his gadgets, or computers. I've never downloaded anything from the Apple Store and in fact, *-) I don't even use the standard Quicktime player  :shhh: ;) .

.... I listened to a commentary on the radio last night about Jobs who, like Edison, was one of the greatest minds ever..... Okaaay :|

Now I surely am not going to dis the guy, he deserves a lot of credit, but comon! Edison!, really? .... Well hells bells if they really wanted to talk the guy up they should have compared him to Tesla - Or Sir Davy!

next channel ... my :tunes:
