She was originally built SS Graf von Götzen.. not quite as told in the BBC story (but it's not like the BBC to be accurate anyway) :lol: The Germans scuttled it in 1916 to stop it falling into Belgian hands and Winston gave the RN the job of refloating it in 1924.. a job successfully completed in 1927. I guess the Brits re-engined it hence it's change from SS to MV ;)
