Hi Rick , just my tuppence worth , I was with bt for years til I went to Sky and my crossover speeds were horrendous until Sky discovered "ghost packets" on the line from when bt were upgrading , I had to ask bt to remove/clean up these spooky said packets then speed increased 10 fold , just another idea to throw in the mix , might be worth asking them to check fella ?

Only been in since 6pm Rick and this was already on page 2 :lol: Can't offer any help though matey. My business line is ISDN2e (BT) and I only use it for the Panasonic telephone exchange now. My broadband is BT but uses 'domestic' strength BT router ;)

Hi Folks

Rick -
Screenie shows -
- negotiated max rate is 4508.
- PVC 0 thru 6 to ALL be Status == UP, (i.e. connected/activated).

Try the following -

Set each off Virtual Circuits PVC0 thru PCV5 to Deactivated.
Save settings.

Force renegotiation -
- Disconnect the phoneline.
- Wait 60 secs.
- Reconnect phoneline.

Is there a connection-test/diagnostics routine ?
Probably under maintenance tab.
Run it.
Report results, & any errors.

Also run a 3rd party speed test.

Hi Rick, from what you've posted this looks like a BT fault, I don't think there is anything you can do. There seems to be a lot of reports of the 2+ upgrade screwing speeds for folks. A mate of mine always had 2+ and his business was 500m from the exchange, it took a year for bt to acknowledge the fault and they reprovisioned the service on a different line and all was good again. If you can get out of your contract do, and move to anyone who doesn't use bt kit, e.g. O2 or BEunlimited
