In FF, if you go to Tools>Options>General [Update] you should be able to change the setting from Automatic to Ask Me First.
I no longer see the RAM or the CPU problems. PaleMoon will grab up to 180MB of RAM on some sites where there is a lot of Flash content or other animation, but as soon as I move away from that site to a less complex one, the RAM is returned and I see numbers around 60MB. The CPU usage will go to 18-20% on the complex page but that is the highest I've seen, and again moving away to a simpler site drops the usage way down again. FF used to do that, but now it doesn't.

Seriously thinking of dumping Firefox unless there is a way to force it to show complete pics and pages without having a good bit of the right side chopped off so the text and pics are not complete ?? I have'nt found anything in Firefox tools to sort it out.

That's not a FF problem, that's a website problem. That website is built for Internet Explorer only and because of it, neither FF nor Chrome will display it properly.

Even worse, here in the US, many government organizations use the same Oracle HR software and because of it, you MUST use Internet Explorer when you want to apply to them. It's sad because it means you have to keep IE around.

I see there is a portable version of Palemoon for download. Will try this out and see if it is better than Firefox Portable.

Does it come with a carrying handle and wheels??

Chris, I was already getting to that conclusion since it only happens here and Flying Stations forum.

Well this Palemoon portable is better than firefox portable. Seems to load faster that FF and less demanding on system resources.
