Good old PC pilot getting their facts wrong, as always!!! FSX (SP2) is multi core, like Speedbird noted above, but its also SLI enabled! I run a Quad Core and SLI and i noticed a hell of a difference when i changed SLI to work in FSX!

With Alpine PC's i wouldnt know as i have built my own since 2 years ago and its still going strong with the Quad upgrade from a Duel being installed this year.

Well my experience was exactly the opposite. On receipt of the system Windows Update installed a shedload of W7 updates. Following this, explorer could not browse the FSX disk. They arranged a courier to pick up the system and it was returned in about 4 days (no charge).

They explained that it was a problem with one of the W7 updates and, sure enough, I uninstalled the update and all is working fine. They have also reported the problem to MS so hopefully it will be fixed in the future.

I took the plunge last year and bought my PC from PC Specialists http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ and it cost less than £1000. Although I have recently put in a larger HDD.

It works very well with FSX.

You can run through a selection screen specifying your requirements and it will give you a running total of price. They are very good at communications and it took about 10 days to deliver.

Good luck
