This is interesting. Just finished reading 'Vulcan Test Pilot' and it says that the Vulcan was more unstable the faster it got. it used to pitch down around mach 0.95 and required increasing amounts of up elevator up to mach 0.98 when there was no more elevator travel left and the only way was down.

It also used to hunt up and down in pitch around mach 0.93 completing a cycle every few seconds.

At high altitude it would out turn an F15 though!

Yes, Mach Tuck was definitely a problem with the early Vulcan and the discovery of that feature is what resulted in the Phase 2 and Phase 2C wings. I don't think it was ever fully "cured" because of the inherent characteristics of a Delta, but what they found because of it led to Concorde being able to transition through the Transonic Mach Tuck zone much easier.
